Home How to work Landlord Receipts

Receipts

You pay all utilities at the bank or online — electricity, water, gas, security — often in one payment. Create one receipt, attach all related payments from the list, upload the bank document. The total is calculated automatically from the attached items. Both sides confirm — and it's locked as legal proof.

The problem it solves

Without receipts you'd attach the same bank document to 5-6 different payments one by one, and track each amount manually. With receipts — create it once, pick payments from the list, the total sums automatically, attach one document, both sides confirm. If the real amount differs from what was charged — adjust it right on the receipt page and the system creates the provider correction for you.

What's new

Amount is calculated for you

No manual total input. The receipt amount is the sum of all attached payments, charges and one-time expenses. Add or remove items — the total updates instantly.

Inline adjustments

Paid more or less than was charged? Click the pencil next to any amount on the receipt page and type the real number. The system records the difference and creates a balance correction with the provider automatically.

Add one-time expenses on the fly

Paid for something that isn't a regular bill — a plumber, a spare key, a small repair? Add it straight from the receipt by name and amount. The system creates the expense, payment and link for you.

Locked after both sides confirm

While only one side has confirmed, the other can still edit. Once both confirm, the receipt is locked — no more changes to amounts, attached payments or the document. It's final proof for both parties.

How to create

1
Create and attach payments

Go to Receipts → New. Set the date and currency, then pick payments, charges and rental charges from the list. If you paid something extra — add it as a one-time expense with a name and amount. The total is summed automatically as you go.

2
Attach the bank document

Upload a scan or photo of the bank receipt (PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC — up to 20 MB). You can drag & drop it on the receipt page or upload later. The file is stored securely and synced to Google Drive automatically.

3
Adjust amounts if needed

If you actually paid more or less than the charged amount, click the pencil next to that line on the receipt page and enter the real number. The system records the difference as a correction with the provider. Setting it back to the original value removes the correction.

4
Both sides confirm — it's locked

The tenant opens the receipt, reviews the amounts and the attached document, and confirms. You confirm on your side. Once both have confirmed, the receipt is locked — no more edits to amounts, payments or the document. It stands as legal proof for both parties.

Example

You paid three bills at the bank on February 5th:

  • Electricity — 150 UAH
  • Water — 80 UAH
  • Gas — 200 UAH

Create one receipt, pick all three charges from the list — the total 430 UAH appears automatically. Upload the bank slip, tenant confirms, you confirm — done. 30 seconds instead of attaching the same document three times.

Two scenarios

You pay the bills (landlord)

You go to the bank, pay all utilities, get one receipt. In the system: create a receipt, pick the charges, upload the bank slip. If any amount differed — tap and fix it inline. The tenant reviews and confirms.

Tenant pays the bills

The tenant pays and creates the receipt with the attached bank document. You review the amounts, adjust anything that doesn't match and confirm. One click.

Tip: You can also use receipts for rent. Paid rent + utilities in one bank transfer? One receipt covers them all — and if the actual paid amount differs from what was charged, adjust it inline on the receipt page instead of creating a separate correction.
