Home How to work Tenant Messages

Messages

Communicate with your landlord directly in the system. Discuss repairs, charges, questions — everything is saved and tied to the property. No need for WhatsApp, email, or phone calls. Both sides have a complete history of the conversation.

When to use

How to send a message

1
Go to Messages

Open your property → Messages from the menu. You'll see the conversation history with the landlord.

2
Write your message

Type your message in the text field. Be clear and specific — include dates, amounts, or references to charges/receipts when relevant.

3
Send

Click Send. The landlord receives an email notification about your new message. They can reply directly in the system.

Why use system messages

Complete history

Every message is saved and tied to the property. You can scroll back months or years. Nothing gets lost like in chat apps or email threads.

Legal record

Messages serve as evidence of communication. If you reported a problem or requested a repair — it's documented with a timestamp. Useful in disputes.

Email notifications

Both sides get email notifications for new messages. You don't need to check the system constantly — you'll know when there's a reply.

Property context

Messages are tied to a specific property. If you rent multiple properties — each has its own conversation thread. No confusion about which apartment you're discussing.

Tip: Use Messages before escalating any issue. Disagreement about a charge? Write a message first. Problem with the apartment? Report it here. Most issues between landlord and tenant are resolved through clear, documented communication.
